This is the narrative of Mr. Fox and his nocturnal, instinctual adventures of hen heckling, turkey snatching, and cider sipping. He has to put his wild days behind him and focus on becoming a decent father. He’s too disobedient. He’s out of control.

Walter Boggis, Nathan Bunce, and Franklin Bean are the three nastiest, meanest farmers, and he’s going to try “just one more attack” on them.

It’s a story about crossing the boundary between family obligations and nocturnal adventures, as well as the friendships and wakefulness that come with living in the country, like Fantastic Mr. Fox and his buddies do.
