Surprisingly, Disney has decided to delay its decision to increase its international prices in select EU countries till November 03, 2021. As a result, existing subscribers in these countries can still watch their favorite online streaming service using their older subscriptions.

Similarly, the leading media company has also deferred the launch of its streaming service, Disney Plus in Eastern European countries until summer 2022.

It means viewers in Eastern European countries will have to wait till summer 2022 to subscribe to one of the most popular video-on-demand streaming platforms.

Moreover, non-Star markets and US subscribers will remain unaffected by Disney’s delayed price hike decision.

What to do if I have subscribed to the service before February 23, 2021?

In case you have obtained the monthly subscription of Disney Plus prior to February 23, 2021, you will pay the old price, which is 6.99 € per month until November 3, 2021.

However, you will pay the new price if you decide to change your existing subscription from a monthly plan to an annual plan. Apart from this, you cannot renew your subscription at the old price in case you cancel your subscription for any reason.

Likewise, the annual subscribers in select EU countries will pay the same old price i.e. 69.99 € per year if their subscription is renewed before November 03, 2021.

Launch of Disney Plus in Eastern European countries delayed
