Kelly Price’s Attorney Says, Star Is ‘Safe And Recovering From Covid’ After Being Reported Missing

As per her legal representative, Kelly Price, a popular Gospel singer is safe and recovering from COVID-19 at an undisclosed location. Previously, Price was listed as a missing person by Georgia Police following her release from the Georgia Hospital after battling COVID-19.

According to Monica Ewing,

Price is continuing her recovery at an ‘undisclosed location.

She also told NBC News,

The star had gone to a ‘quiet place’ after being discharged from hospital.

The 48-year-old songwriter’s representative purportedly contacted Cobb County Police to inform them that she is safe. Price was declared as a missing person following a welfare check conducted at her home last Saturday.

TMZ revealed previously,

We’re told the authorities found no evidence of foul play and spoke with Kelly’s boyfriend at the residence.

Price was hospitalized during the first week of August after battling with COVID-19 complications. But unfortunately her condition did not improve as expected so she was moved to ICU.

Kelly Price informed her fans that she had contacted COVID-19 virus via Instagram video on July 30,

I found out today I have COVID. I Am COVID Positive. I’m following Dr’s orders. I’m quarantined. Feeling really drained. Splitting headache but I’m not in the hospital. I’m grateful and expecting to have a quick recovery.

Per the report, family members talked to Kelly Price when she was hospitalized. That said, after three weeks into her medical treatment, they received a phone call that she had been discharged from a hospital despite not being fully recovered from the COVID-19 virus.

Family members also alleged Price’s boyfriend that he did not allow them to visit Price’s home. When Price was disappeared, her fans showed their concerns by commenting to TMZ’s Twitter post.

One fan wrote,

This is really suspicious.

Another fan commented,

Very, very odd story. She’s one of my fav artists. I hope for some reason, it’s a publicity stunt. If not, y’all better keep an eye on that “boyfriend” of hers. Praying she’s found and that she’s unharmed.

Another user responded to TMZ’s Twitter post, saying

Several people are questioning the timeline and why the public is just now hearing about Price’s disappearance.

One fan also commented about Kelly’s boyfriend shady behavior,

Kelly Price’s boyfriend sounds extremely shady. She’s been missing for nearly a month now and you won’t let her own family and friends visit the home? Come on now.

Unfortunately, Kelly has lost her loved ones including grandfather, mother, and grandmother due to the potentially deadly virus since the last year.

Although, family members are understandably worried about Kelly’s health and safety but they must have taken a sigh of relief after hearing this encouraging news.
